Donor Fatigue
It’s hard to know whether it’s “Donor Fatigue” or just that people just don’t have the funds to donate items, although this is traditionally a quieter time of year for donations. It would seem we are not alone, recently we have been asked to supply the “Rough Sleeper” team with parcels because the other Kettering Food Bank was struggling to supply them. When I went shopping this week there was a well known Kettering Childrens Charity in the super market asking for donations. We ourselves are buying in more items than ever (over £1500. This week alone) we are fortunate to be able to do this, all because of the tremendous support we have. There has been a fair bit of publicity about food banks in general struggling and some even closing, While there has been a reduction in donations the demand for food parcels remains high. We remain committed to providing substantial food parcels to those in genuine need and with your generous support we will continue well into the future.
A BIG THANKYOU TO ALL OF YOU.
